This Community Fundraising Events Calendar is intended as a resource for the Bay Area LGBT community, to assist organizations in planning their calendar of fundraising events, and for individuals to know what is going on the community that may be of interest. It is not intended to be full calendar of everything happening in the Bay Area. You may add your event to this calendar, and it will be posted within a few days, after minor editing and approval. If you know of other events not currently listed, please let the organizing agency know about this resource, and ask them to add their event here.

Here are some guidelines for types of events you may post to the calendar:

• Ticketed fundraising events for your organization, that primarily serve or benefit the LGBT community (e.g. Annual galas)
• Community events that benefit the larger LGBT community, such as fairs, festivals, etc. (e.g. LGBT Pride, Folsom Street Fair, Castro Street Fair, AIDS Walk, etc)

• Events that are not fundraising events (e.g. a free exhibition)
• Events that do not primarily benefit the LGBT community (e.g. Black and White Ball)
• Non-ticketed fundraisers at venues such as bars, etc (e.g. Beer busts)
• Events that are not in the nine-county Bay Area (e.g. a Gala in Sacramento)
