KQED celebrates the diversity of cultures in the Bay Area by acknowledging Heritage Months, hosting local heroes events, and providing culturally specific programming, and community & educator resources. Why We Sing!, a documentary about opening hearts and changing lives through song, will be presented by KQED to nationwide audiences in June. KQED will premiere Why We Sing! on Thursday, June 28 at 8pm (right before the PBS Presidential Primary Forum on KQED TV9).
