2003 Donor-Advised Fund Grants
Partnering with Horizons through donor-advised and other named funds serves the philanthropic goals of individuals and organizations. Donors often make a gift of appreciated stock or other asset and receive a tax deduction in that year, and then spread out their giving over a longer period of time. Horizons funds also offer pooled investments, a single IRS charitable giving letter, quarterly financial statements, and check-writing for the donor's annual charitable giving. Most importantly, we bring nearly a quarter century of expertise and vision to helping donors make the greatest impact in the LGBT community. Horizons is currently home to more than 30 donor-advised and other named funds.
For more information about establishing a fund at Horizons, please contact Julie Dorf, Director of Philanthropic Services and Development, at 415.398.2333 x103 or jdorf@horizonsfoundation.org.
