Announcing Horizons’ Chief Philanthropy Officer
I am delighted to share with you that Candace Lopez has joined Horizons Foundation as Chief Philanthropy Officer. In this role, she’ll lead the foundation’s fund development, philanthropic services, and legacy giving work.
Candace joins the foundation with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily in development. Her fundraising experience spans multiple causes, including civil liberties, the arts, higher education, domestic violence, and gender equity. Most recently, she served as Development Director of Gender Spectrum, a Bay Area nonprofit that works to create gender-inclusive environments for youth across the country.
