“On the heels of our 40th Anniversary, and as Bay Area nonprofits need support more than ever before, the work that she’ll lead will have tremendous impact on both our community and the foundation itself,” said Roger Doughty, Horizons’ President.

Candace joins the foundation with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily in development. Her fundraising experience spans multiple causes including civil liberties, the arts, higher education, domestic violence, and gender equity. Most recently, she served as Development Director of Gender Spectrum, a Bay Area nonprofit that works to create gender-inclusive environments for youth across the country.
