The Horizons-Dorian Loan Fund offers low-interest loans to LGBTQ-serving organizations in the nine counties of the SF Bay Area. Horizons is grateful to the Dorian Fund and to its trustee, Chris Kollaja, for their generous support of this fund.
The Horizons-Dorian Loan Fund serves to support organizations facing special circumstances, with low-interest loans ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.
Examples of Use
Address unexpected organizational emergencies (e.g., the boiler breaks in your building)
Merger or closure
Assist with an orderly merger and/or closure
Hire outside support to help address financial challenges
Close a funding gap for a specific project or while waiting for a committed grant, not to cover ordinary operating losses

Sign a Nondiscrimination Form.
Email the completed attachments to loans [at] horizonsfoundation.org, making sure to include all attachments described in the application.
3. Application review and notification
You will be notified about the outcome of your loan application within four weeks of your application submission. If your situation requires more urgent attention, please let us know, and we will make every effort to accommodate.
