Our 2015 Grantees

2015 Grantee Bfast

We are proud to announce our 2015 Community Issues Grantees, Horizons’ original grantmaking program that continues today. In 2015, we’ve awarded more than $3.4 million in grants – bringing our total grantmaking to more than $35 million in our 35 years!

The annual Community Issues process supports organizations or projects serving LGBT people in the nine Bay Area counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma. Most community Issues grants support general operating costs for LGBT-specific nonprofits working on a wide array of issues with multiple populations within the LGBT community. Community Issues grants also support non LGBT-specific nonprofits on their LGBT-specific projects.
