A San Francisco-based community foundation dedicated to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, Horizons exists to increase resources for the LGBT movement and organizations serving our community; support individual donors and foster giving as an integral part of a healthy, compassionate community; invest in community organizations that secure the rights, meet the needs, and celebrate the lives of LGBT people; and create and steward a permanent community endowment for donors who wish to support the LGBT community as part of their legacies. In 2005, Horizons celebrated 25 years of service to the LGBT community.
