The world’s first community foundation of, by, and for LGBTQ people, Horizons invests in LGBTQ organizations, strengthens a culture of LGBTQ giving, and builds a permanent endowment to secure our community’s future for generations to come, with a focus on the SF Bay Area but impact nationwide.

About the Positions 

Graphic
Design
Intern

  • Design graphics and illustrations for various campaigns and mediums
  • Must have experience with Adobe CC and demonstrated interest in graphic design

digital Communications Intern

  • Manage Horizons' social media content curation and moderation
  • Make updates to Horizons' website
  • Assist in development of monthly newsletter and other emails

Editorial
And Pr
intern

  • Pitch, research, and write grantee stories and other blog content
  • Draft press releases and maintain media lists
  • Must have strong writing skills

About the Internship

  • 10-20 hours per week (flexible)
  • $15/hour compensation
  • Flexible start and end dates (roughly, Labor Day through Christmas)
  • Completely remote, with option to work from San Francisco office
  • Open to current college and graduate students in the United States
  • Interns must own a laptop on which to perform the duties of this internship
  • Interns report to Director of Communications
