Horizons Welcomes More Than 50 Grantee Partners to Annual Convening

On April 23, 2026, Horizons Foundation gathered more than 50 LGBTQ leaders for Shared Wisdom, a dedicated convening space for LGBTQ partners from across the nine counties of the SF Bay Area to build a shared understanding of the essential role of community relationships in navigating the current political moment. Horizons brought the framework and vision for relationship building, and invited LGBTQ organizations to ideate and shape the conversation, ensuring the agenda reflected community needs and opportunities for deeper collaboration across issues and geographies.
Over the afternoon, attendees came together to build stronger networks, share resources and opportunities, and foster a more cohesive LGBTQ community. In small-table conversations and in two rotated table conversations, community leaders engaged candidly in discussions about organizational sustainability, collaboration, and how each organization is meeting this political moment. The event furthered Horizons’ continued investment in building a stronger Bay Area LGBTQ ecosystem, equipping leaders with the relationships and tools to share information, best practices, and solutions.
