Give OUT Day 2024: Pride Month Kicks-Off With More Than $965,000 Raised for Over 300 LGBTQ Nonprofits

Horizons Foundation is pleased to announce that Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community, raised more than $965,000 from over 300 LGBTQ nonprofits. Give OUT Day 2024 — which took place on May 30, 2024 — is the 24-hour culmination of a month-long campaign that started May 1, 2024. During the campaign, hundreds of LGBTQ organizations across the 50 states, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico raised funds to support their work and develop the donor base needed to continue their critical work from over 11,400 donors.

In addition to the funds raised by individuals, prize grants were awarded to organizations with the greatest number of individual donors in multiple categories, called Leaderboards. Horizons also awarded a variety of prizes, and all 25 prize winners can be found here.

As the organizer for Give OUT Day, Horizons Foundation provides – completely free of charge – training tools and technical assistance, a powerful technology platform, and tens of thousands in prize grants to the top-performing organizations. Participating LGBTQ organizations have access to the Give OUT Day fundraising platform and to the Give OUT Day Learning Center so they can continue fundraising for much-needed resources.
