OVERVIEW

Out & About Bookshop is a mobile children’s bookstore that connects children and families in the San Francisco Bay Area with LGBTQ+ stories. We provide enrichment through storytimes, family meetups, and community events. We partner with local school communities, provide field trips, and support school Rainbow Clubs. We invite LGBTQ+ authors to share their work and celebrate their voices. We are dedicated to nurturing children’s literary lives and developing their curiosity.
