OVERVIEW
Founded in 2012, Still Here San Francisco (SHSF) is an intergenerational cultural preservation project amplifying the voices and creativity of queer, trans, and gender expansive Black, Indigenous, and People of Color rooted and raised on the unceded, traditional land of the Yelamu Ohlone people, which we call home and on which we are guests.
SHSF was founded on the principle that storytellers, poets, and multimedia artists can contribute a profound re-understanding of time and place and that QTBIPOC San Franciscans should be at the forefront of telling and documenting SF stories to preserve our legacy and fight erasure.
