OVERVIEW
Trans Bloom is an artist-led intergenerational trans and BIPOC-centered cultural hub dedicated to healing through creativity and connection. Our vision is to create portals to a world where trans and BIPOC people are resourced mentally, emotionally, and materially to co-create liberatory cultures that celebrate our lived experiences and connect our history with futures we have yet to dream. We are an emerging organization that creates programming in the Bay Area and facilitates healing experiences for Bay Area communities on the land via three program areas – artist residencies, activist retreats, and community events.
We are a proudly BIPOC, trans, and artist-led organization with a team that has been organizing in the community for over 30 years at organizations such as the Trans Oral History Project, Trans Lifeline, the SF Transgender Film Festival, and the Translations International Transgender Film Festival.
