Horizons Foundation is thrilled to announce that our President Roger Doughty has been selected as a 2026 Community Grand Marshal for Lifetime Achievement at San Francisco Pride's 56th annual Pride Parade and Celebration. Ahead of his planned retirement from Horizons in November, Roger will be honored for his activism and leadership in the LGBTQ movement for nearly 40 years. Horizons is excited to invite our nonprofit partners, donors, and friends to march with Roger and the Horizons community at the Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28. This year’s theme, Resistance in Action!, is a testament to the resilience and enduring spirit of the LGBTQ community, but the spirit of Pride has always been, and remains, a powerful act of protest.
Date: Sunday, June 28
Time: All members must arrive before 10:00 a.m. to join us at the march. Late arrivals will not be accepted. The march down Market Street in San Francisco will begin before 11:00 a.m.
Location: Horizons will assemble at G1, Steuart St. between Mission and Howard. Please use the map below as a guide.

March options: Horizons' community members have the option to march on foot, or to sit or stand on a Horizons-branded trolley. Anyone needing ADA access or mobility assistance will be accommodated.
Merch & Attire: Horizons will be providing free branded baseball caps to anyone who marches with us. Otherwise, remember to wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and bring water. If you have it, it is encouraged that community members wear orange, but feel free to come dressed however you want!
If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]. See you at Pride!
