Give OUT Day 2024: Pride Month Kicks-Off With More Than
$890,000 Raised for Over 300 LGBTQ Nonprofits

June 5, 2024, San Francisco – Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community, announced preliminary results of the 2024 campaign: more than $890,000 was raised for over 300 LGBTQ nonprofits. Give OUT Day — which took place on May 30, 2024 — is the 24-hour culmination of a month-long campaign that started May 1, 2024. During the campaign, hundreds of LGBTQ organizations raised funds to support their work and develop the donor base needed to continue their critical work. This year, LGBTQ organizations across the 50 states, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico raised funds from over 11,300 donors. Give OUT Day is organized by Horizons Foundation, which provides the technology platform, training, and resources to participating organizations at no cost.

Since 2013, Give OUT Day has helped hundreds of grassroots nonprofits raise millions of dollars from thousands of individual donors. Spanning all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, these organizations support all facets of the LGBTQ community — from groups specifically supporting LGBTQ mental health care and community care, to those focused on legal rights and the arts. Participating organizations have access to donor information and are able to continue to develop donor engagement and fundraising.

In addition to the funds raised by individuals, prize grants were awarded to organizations with the greatest number of individual donors in multiple categories, called Leaderboards. Horizons also awarded a variety of prizes, and all 25 prize winners can be found here.
