Give OUT Day 2023 Preliminary Results: Nearly $1.2 Million Raised for Almost 500 LGBTQ Nonprofits During Pride Month

June 29, 2023, San Francisco – Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community, today announced preliminary results of the 2023 campaign: Nearly $1.2 million was raised from over 11,000 donors across the country. Give OUT Day — which took place on June 28 this year — is the 24-hour culmination of a campaign held during Pride Month in which hundreds of LGBTQ organizations raise funds to support their critical work.

In addition to the funds raised by individuals, prize grants were awarded to organizations with the greatest number of individual donors in multiple categories, called Leaderboards. These Leaderboard prizes are supported by Horizons Foundation and Laughing Gull Foundation. Horizons also awarded a variety of other prizes, and all 39 prize winners can be found here.

Since 2013, Give OUT Day has helped hundreds of grassroots nonprofits raise millions of dollars from tens of thousands of individual donors. Spanning all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, these organizations support all facets of the LGBTQ community — from groups specifically supporting LGBTQ mental health care and people of color, to those focused on legal rights and the arts.

Give OUT Day is organized by Horizons Foundation, which provides the technology platform, training, and resources to participating organizations at no cost.
