He is a member of Northern California Planned Giving Council, and is past president of San Francisco Beautiful, and sits on the national board of directors of Scenic America.

Milo first observed the financial world soon after college as a contributing correspondent for Business Week. In 1977, he joined Harvard University as a public relations manager, and later served as an executive with New England Life. Before establishing a financial management practice in San Francisco, he had been affiliated with Bank of America’s municipal finance division.
