Shannon became a member of The Pidgeon Group of Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor in February 2020. Shannon began her career in campaign marketing at a technology company. This allowed her to meet clients at trade shows and maintain ongoing partnerships with both small and large companies. Through these relationships, she was better able to understand their goals and help them find the right solutions to fit those needs. She believes this perspective has uniquely positioned her to understand that, one can create a comprehensive plan to achieve desired results. She is now creating similar partnerships with well-respected Certified Public Accountants and Estate Planning Attorneys to create holistic investment portfolio strategies for her clients. Also due to her background in technology, she has great knowledge with restricted stock (RSUs) and concentrated stock positions. She has also been a featured guest speaker focusing on Women and Wealth for various Employee Resource Groups. Shannon holds FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66 registrations, and CA insurance license registrations.
She received her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and, as part of her degree, had a summer internship combined study abroad program at the Foundation for International Education in London. At her previous employer, she volunteered quarterly at the Second Harvest Food Bank and was one of the founding members of the Early Career Network, an organization aimed at fostering professional growth and connecting young professionals. In January 2020, she joined the Junior League of San Francisco, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. She is currently on one of the Junior League of San Francisco’s Community Partner committees, Maitri SF, which is a nonprofit organization that provides compassionate residential are for people in need. She and her committee volunteer monthly. She is also one of the co-leads for the Girl Get After It San Francisco chapter, which she organizes and hosts women-centered networking activities under the #GirlGetAfterIt brand and platform. Encouraging women to get involved, try new things and providing a space for them to do so. Her role includes event planning and execution for monthly events, as well as content creation and social media management for @ggaisf on Instagram.
Away from the office
Shannon is a Bay Area Native – having grown up in Greenbrae and now living in San Francisco. She is a health enthusiast; in 2019 and 2025, Shannon competed in the Olympic Club Strength and Fitness competition and broke numerous club records. In her free time, she also enjoys skiing, hiking, reading, and traveling.
