The LGBTQ community has made great strides over the decades, but at the same time, LGBTQ people still face major challenges, including discrimination, poorer health outcomes, and poverty, with even greater need among youth and elders, transgender people, LGBTQ communities of color, and many more. 

We also know that we can't predict our community's future needs, a reality painfully underscored by the nation’s 45th presidency, the seeming demise of Roe v. Wade, and the devastating and sudden impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
