It will provide emotional Support to isolated seniors in San Francisco, Marin and the East Bay by training and supervising volunteers who will offer telephone support, home visits and group connections to at-risk seniors whose fear of discrimination have kept them hidden from mainstream services. The Collaborative will also train mainstream health and social service providers to be more effective in aiding people who have been afraid to seek the assistance they need.
